Two ways to give the
Scion Media team access

Facebook changed how Page access works, and every Page now sits in one of two setups. Pick the lane that matches yours — both take about two minutes, and you stay the owner of your Page either way.

Seeing "Owned by: Individual people" on your Page? That's normal and nothing is wrong — it just means your Page was created from a personal profile and never claimed into a Business account. That's Way 1.
Way 1 · Add us on the Page

Five steps, all on facebook.com

The hard part isn't the clicking — it's that Facebook buried this menu and didn't label it "admins" or "roles" anywhere. Here's exactly where it lives.

Switch into your Page first

This is where 9 out of 10 people get stuck. Click your profile picture in the top right → See all profiles → click your business Page.

You'll know it worked when the picture in the top-right corner is your business logo, not your face. If you skip this, Facebook shows you your personal settings and the menu you need simply won't exist.

On your phone? Facebook app → tap your profile picture (bottom right) → See all profiles → tap your Page → ☰ Menu → Settings & privacy → Settings. Same path from there.

Open Settings → Page setup

Go to Settings & privacy → Settings. In the left-hand menu, scroll down to the "Audience and visibility" group and click Page setup — it's the last item, with the little flag icon.

Click "Page access"

The Page setup panel opens on the right. Click Page access — the second row, described as "Invite people to help manage your Page, and control who has access to it."

People with Facebook access → Add new

You'll land on "Manage and view access." The very first section is People with Facebook access — click Add new on the right, then Next.

Search for the name of your Scion Media contact (it's in your welcome email — reply or call us and we'll send it again). Select it, toggle "Allow this person to have full control" to ON, click Give access, then enter your Facebook password to confirm.

Password prompt is normal. Facebook always asks you to re-enter your own password when granting full control. We never see it, and we never ask you for it.

Optional: claim your Page username

While you're in Page setup, click Name (or go to Page details) and check whether your Page has a username. If the box is empty, your Page address is a long string of numbers — which hurts you in local search and looks unfinished everywhere we link to it.

Set it to your business name, no spaces, so your Page becomes facebook.com/yourbusinessname. Takes ten seconds and we'll use it on your website and your Google Business Profile.

Shortcut for step 2 and 3. Once you're switched into your Page (step 1), you can skip the menu hunting entirely — paste this into your address bar and it drops you straight on the Page access screen.

Way 2 · Add us as a partner

Four clicks in Business Settings

Use this lane if you already have a Business Portfolio — and definitely use it if we're running ads for you. Access attaches to our company, never to one person's profile.

Open Business Settings

Go to business.facebook.com and click the gear icon in the bottom-left menu to open Business Settings.

Users → Partners → Add

In the left menu under Users, click Partners. Click the blue Add button and choose "Give a partner access to your assets."

Paste our Business ID

Paste 1505961754179508 into the box. Facebook will show "Scion Media LLC" back to you. Click Next.

Assign your Page and save

Select your Facebook Page (and your Instagram account if it's connected), turn on Full control, then click Save changes. We accept on our end and start the same business day.

When it's done, it shows up on your Page access screen under Partners with access — exactly like the screenshot in Way 1, step 4.

Don't have a Business Portfolio? Don't create one just for this — go back and use Way 1 instead. If we're setting up ads, we'll walk you through creating your own portfolio on a call, so it stays in your name.
If You Get Stuck

The four things that go wrong

In that order. Ninety percent of the time it's the first one.

I don't see "Page setup" anywhere in the menu
You're still in your personal profile, not your Page. Personal settings don't have a Page setup item at all, so you can scroll forever looking for something that isn't there. Check the top-right picture — if it's your face instead of your logo, click it → See all profiles → click your Page → then open Settings again.
I'm in Business Suite and only see Profiles, Authorizations, Language
You're in the wrong tool. business.facebook.com is the Business Portfolio tool — if your Page isn't in a portfolio, it's a mostly empty shell and Page access won't be there. Click Profiles in that left menu to jump into the Page itself, or just go to facebook.com and follow Way 1.
I sent a request from Business Manager and nothing happened
Those requests land as a notification on the owner's personal Facebook profile, buried under birthdays and group activity — most people never see them, and they expire after 30 days. Cancel the pending request (it blocks a clean re-invite) and use Way 1 instead. Way 1 doesn't depend on anybody noticing a notification.
My screen looks nothing like these pictures
A small number of Pages are still on the older Classic Pages layout, which uses Page Roles instead of Page access. The path there is facebook.com/[your-page]/settings/?tab=admin_roles → Page Roles → Assign a New Page Role → enter your Scion Media contact's name → set to Admin → Add. Send us your Page link and we'll tell you which layout you're on.
